Jesus will come back with great power and glory to judge the wicked, vindicate the righteous, and redeem His people back to Himself. Then until He returns, we are called to be on guard, to be hopeful, and to be vigilant as we faithfully do the work that He has given us.

Jesus is the Son of David and the Son of God, who comes to destroy sin and death by giving away His life for us. And He is inviting us to give away our lives to Him for this alone is the way to our salvation. Then may we humbly, joyfully, and willingly entrust ourselves to Him for He alone is the Giver of life.

Because we worship the King, Jesus, we will be hated by the world. But we are not to repay evil with evil. Instead, we are called to testify about Jesus so that the world will also know this wonderful Savior who is generously offering life to all – even His enemies.

Jesus loves us with sacrificial faithfulness, vulnerable openness, and grace-driven commitment – and we are now called to love each other with the same love that we have received. Let us obey knowing that it will bring glory to the Father and complete the joy of our hearts.

Jesus is the true Vine, and we are the branches. If we remain in Him and Him in us, we will bear much fruit; apart from Him, we can do nothing. Then let us desperately cling to Him this year for He alone is the source of our hope and life.

Jesus is not only the King we need but the King we desire for He leads us out of slavery, leads us back home, and leads us even when we’ve rejected Him. Then this Christmas, let’s worship this King because He came to save us, to give us worth, to give us hope, and to give us a reason to rejoice again.

Jesus isn’t just the King of the Jews but the Savior of the world. And we are now called to live under His life-giving authority – to surrender ourselves to His lordship. This Christmas, may we give Jesus the worship He deserves as we invite the world to shout for joy – proclaiming that the King has come.

Jesus may not be the King we expected but He surely is the King we all need – He was born to save us from our sins and give us life. And this King promises that He will be with us always. Then may we have the eyes to see His beauty and know that He alone is worthy of our worship – worthy of losing everything for.

The genealogy of Jesus reminds us that God is good, that God is gracious, and that God gives us rest through the person of Jesus Christ. This Advent, let us remember that Christmas is all about Jesus – His arrival. The wait is over – the King is here as was promised. Let us welcome and celebrate Him. Let us hope again.

Through Jesus Christ, the best for us is yet to come – the life we know now is only a dim and faint analogy for what the resurrection life will be like. This is possible because our God is not the God of the dead but of the living. Then may the reality of the resurrection transform not only our future life but our lives today.

A life worthy of the gospel is a life that suffers for Christ as we stand firm in the gospel knowing that our ultimate home is found in heaven. May we endeavor to live this way as we immerse ourselves in the gospel for this alone gives us the power to live this way.

The greatest commandment is this: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. “We love because He first loved us” (1 Jn. 4:19).

As image bearers of God, we are called to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice knowing that we are His. So, let us give back every moment of our lives to God. Let us give Him the worship that He deserves knowing that He is worthy.

For God so loved the world, He sent His one and only Son, His beloved Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. “The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” May we respond with humble adoration and experience the fullness of His saving love for us.

God is calling us to sing to the Lord, declare His glory among the nations, and rejoice knowing that Jesus is coming back. Then I pray that we would commit ourselves to be immersed in the gospel as we illuminate the light of the gospel to all peoples near and far for His glory.

We are called to give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. No matter what kind of situation you may be in, may we cultivate a heart of gratitude by looking at the mercies of God, which are constantly affirming His love for us.

Living under Jesus’ authority is not oppressive – it’s safe and liberating. Then may we live in humble obedience, knowing that He will work all things for the good of His people, and joyfully share the gospel so that others too would live under this life-giving authority.

Jesus came not to restore the temple but to replace it. Only through Him, do we approach God, receive His forgiveness, and become sons and daughters of God. Then I pray that we would have faith in Him as we continue to live out the call that He has given us – to be a house of prayer for all nations.

Jesus is the humble King who comes to die for our sins. He may not be the King we expected or wanted but He undoubtedly is the King we need. Then I pray that we will give ourselves to Him – committing ourselves to live for His glory in all circumstances. He is the promised Messiah, the Savior King.
