We’ve been chased by God, chosen by His grace, and changed by our encounter with the risen Christ – this is the reality of all believers. So, let’s honor God by thanking Him, by living a life worthy of the gospel, loving each other, and pursuing after those who are lost so that they too will be welcomed into the family.

Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality – the gospel reality. It’s a sign of union with Christ, an act of obedience to Christ, and a point of entry into the body of Christ. Then, may our lives reflect this truth as we live for Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.

We must humbly hear the Word and faithfully herald the Word so that we can help the next generation wholeheartedly live out the Word. This is how we protect the legacy of grace. Then, let’s do just that – let’s immerse ourselves in the Word and tell others about this life-giving, life-transforming gospel story.

Nothing will stop the advance of the gospel because God is not done saving His people. For that reason, He’ll continue to transform us (our minds, hearts, and lives) so that the walls that divide people will be torn down. Then, let’s humbly allow the Spirit to work in us so that this life-giving truth can go out from us.

Because Christ has been raised from the dead, our labor is purposeful, our faith is fruitful, and our hope is secure. Then, knowing that the victory over death is ours through Christ Jesus, let’s give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord, for His glory and our good.

The gospel tells us that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day so that we can be forgiven, redeemed, and empowered to live a life that aims to bring glory to God. This truly is good news – then, may this truth be of first importance in all of our lives today.

Christian lament is how we bring our sorrow to God. In our pain, we can wrestle in prayer, for Jesus Christ, who is the fulfillment of Psalm 22, was forsaken so that we would never be forsaken by God. Then, let’s turn to Christ today, knowing that He will lead us to sing again.

The death of Stephen reminds us that we’re called to boldly speak about Jesus, humbly trust Jesus, and joyfully imitate Jesus. Then, may we learn to die to ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Christ as we aim to make His name great.

The call of Abram shows us that God is calling us to surrender our lives, trust His Word, and worship through it all. Then, will you do that today?

The Tower of Babel reminds us that we do not have the power to make a name for ourselves. No fame, no accomplishment, and no worldly thing can give us a name that will last forever – but God can. Then, let’s not waste our time chasing after the things that will fail us but turn to the One who promises us life everlasting.

This table of nations is more than just a list of ancient tribes – it’s a theological roadmap showing God’s unwavering commitment to redeem His people. It’s our story. Then, let’s go and make disciples of all nations so that they would also know the saving love of God. Let’s unite people under the banner of Christ.

This story reminds us that no one is exempt from sin – which means that every single one of us is in need of grace. We must continually cling to Christ and guard our hearts. And if someone sins, we should be quick to cover them with love, not expose them, for this is the Jesus way.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. If you believe this, let’s courageously go and declare this truth to the world, knowing that the gospel is unstoppable.

We are in a covenant relationship with God, which means we’re bound to Him in a deep, committed, and unbreakable way based on His promises and faithfulness rather than our performance. Then, I invite you to live with confidence, security, and purpose, knowing He will never leave us or forsake us.

Whenever you feel alone, whenever you doubt God’s love for you, let this passage remind you that God remembers you – that He has never taken His eyes off of you. Then, trusting in His sovereign grace, let’s faithfully walk with God in all that we do – even in our waiting.

Our God is a holy God, and He will justly punish the wicked. But He’s also a gracious God. Because of His love for us, He won’t let us go. Then, let’s run to Him today. Cling to Him, for He truly is mighty to save.

God is our only hope against the problem of sin. He alone is able to rescue us from evil, guard us by His grace, and empower us to do what is good. Do you truly believe this today? If so, let’s turn to Him and celebrate His grace that has saved us, is sustaining us, and will carry us home.

The truth is that no one knows when death will come and devour us. Then, let me ask you, “Are you prepared?” Knowing that Jesus is our only hope in death, let’s turn to Him today. Let’s anchor ourselves to Him, for He will give us life and life to the full.

Because of what Christ has done for us, no sin will be able to separate us from the love of God. Then, today, place your hope in Christ and swim in the ocean of God’s grace. He will rescue you from sin, for He alone is mighty to save.

Psalm 1 promises that there’s a path to deep and endurable happiness. How can we be on this path? By delighting and meditating on the Word, for it will transform us into a people of stability, growth, and fruitfulness. Then, this year, let’s immerse ourselves in the Word and look to the One who gave up His life to bless us.
