Our God is mighty to do the impossible – and yet He stoops down to meet us in our weakness, restore what is broken, and amaze us with His wonders. Then, may we, like Sarah, move from the laughter of unbelief to the laughter of joy, knowing that nothing is too wonderful for the Lord.

We’re called to trust God’s sufficiency even when promises seem delayed, live out of our new identity that shapes our mission, and remember Christ, who has sealed the covenant with His blood on the cross. Then, let’s live daily in the enjoyment of the covenant relationship with God, which is secure in Jesus Christ.

Our God is a God who sees and hears. You’re not forgotten – He will find you even in your wilderness. So, let’s not try to take matters into our own hands when our plans don’t work out. Let’s trust the One who is in control over all things. He doesn’t need our help. He’ll accomplish His will in His perfect timing.

Christ has won, Christ will reign, and Christ will judge. So, let’s not live in fear of the dragon’s roar but live in confidence of the Lamb’s victory. Don’t let these temporary battles blind you to the final outcome, for all who belong to Him will share in His victory forever.

God is our shield and our reward – in Him, we find true safety and lasting satisfaction. So, let’s cling to His promises when fears and doubts arise, confident that He remains faithful, even when we are faithless – His love endures, even when our love falls short, for He has bound Himself to us.

God is sovereignly at work in our lives, orchestrating all things to fulfill His purposes in and through us. Then, trusting in His wisdom and power, let’s make the most of every opportunity to advance the gospel, knowing that Christ is our only hope in life and in death. He is worth the cost.

Faithlessness leaves us empty-handed, but faith enables us to leave our hands open, knowing that everything we have belongs to God. He gives and takes away – but by faith, we’ll choose to say, “Blessed be Your name.” May this be the confession of our lives – a deep trust in the One who rescued us from darkness.

God is calling us to walk by faith, not by sight – to cling to His promises as we worship through it all. Yes, there will be times when we stumble. But let’s not allow those struggles to push us away from Him. Instead, let’s keep running to God, knowing that everything we truly need and long for is found in Him alone.

God remains faithful even when we are faithless. No sin is too great, no failure too deep, no shame too heavy, for the steadfast love of God to overcome. In Christ, we’re safe and secure – held firmly in His gracious embrace. Then, let’s cling to this truth so that it’ll become a source of comfort for our hearts today.

Paul’s only aim was to finish the race well. So, he pressed on – boldly advancing the gospel and lovingly shepherding God’s people as he humbly relied on the transforming power of God’s Word. Then, that’s what we must do as well so that we, too, can faithfully live out the mission God has entrusted to us as a church.

Deacons serve to preserve the unity of the church and to support the elders as they shepherd God’s people. Then, let’s pray that God would raise up men and women who are not only strong, passionate, and wise – but also faithful, humble, and fully dependent on the Lord in all they do.

Elders must know the sheep, feed the sheep, lead the sheep, and protect the sheep. Isn’t that the kind of leadership we long to see in our church? Then, let’s ask God to raise up elders who are not only strong, passionate, and wise but also faithful, humble, and deeply reliant on the Lord in all they do.

Elders are God’s gift to the church, for they’re called to shepherd His people and build up the body of Christ. So, as under-shepherds of Christ, elders must lead with strength, wisdom, and integrity – living lives that are worthy of imitation for every believer. Then, let’s pray that God raises up elders like this.

We’ve been chased by God, chosen by His grace, and changed by our encounter with the risen Christ – this is the reality of all believers. So, let’s honor God by thanking Him, by living a life worthy of the gospel, loving each other, and pursuing after those who are lost so that they too will be welcomed into the family.

Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality – the gospel reality. It’s a sign of union with Christ, an act of obedience to Christ, and a point of entry into the body of Christ. Then, may our lives reflect this truth as we live for Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.

We must humbly hear the Word and faithfully herald the Word so that we can help the next generation wholeheartedly live out the Word. This is how we protect the legacy of grace. Then, let’s do just that – let’s immerse ourselves in the Word and tell others about this life-giving, life-transforming gospel story.

Nothing will stop the advance of the gospel because God is not done saving His people. For that reason, He’ll continue to transform us (our minds, hearts, and lives) so that the walls that divide people will be torn down. Then, let’s humbly allow the Spirit to work in us so that this life-giving truth can go out from us.

Because Christ has been raised from the dead, our labor is purposeful, our faith is fruitful, and our hope is secure. Then, knowing that the victory over death is ours through Christ Jesus, let’s give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord, for His glory and our good.

The gospel tells us that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day so that we can be forgiven, redeemed, and empowered to live a life that aims to bring glory to God. This truly is good news – then, may this truth be of first importance in all of our lives today.

Christian lament is how we bring our sorrow to God. In our pain, we can wrestle in prayer, for Jesus Christ, who is the fulfillment of Psalm 22, was forsaken so that we would never be forsaken by God. Then, let’s turn to Christ today, knowing that He will lead us to sing again.
